For the Culinarily Curious.
We exist to inspire memorable experiences by being actively curious through an atmosphere of experimentation and learning.
Inspiration is full-body. When we hear a song or meet someone with profound words, we feel it all the way down to our toes. Hearts beat faster and our eyes brighten. We engage. Awake people make the best pupils, and if you want someone to sit up and take notes, they need to feel inspired. Anyone, whether they hated school or loved it, becomes interested when the subject is made more inspiring.
We Are for
✓ People who love Texas food and beverages
✓ People who invest in food culture
✓ People who love food so much that they do it for a living.
✓Students who want to pursue food, beverage, farming, as a career.
All foodies are invited to join us for experimental and inspiring times of taste exploration. Together, we can experience tastes, sights and smells from the best food and drink makers in our Texas region. For all you pros, it’s a place specially designed to stretch your culinary skills and innovate tastes from the breadth and depth of Texan food culture.
We create culinary environments where you will be inspired.
It’s an attitude of constant experimentation, exploration, and question-asking. If a local chef declares, “I have defined the taste of Texas!” We'll invite her to come show us, and we'll go find someone who disagrees and bring them too. We'll host the evening and invite you to come watch and taste the debate as it unfolds.
Who is creating space for the experimentation that is so crucial to forward movement in the food-making world?
Where can a chef go to let her imagination stretch and run wild for a bit? Do local line cooks feel like factory workers or artists? We are here to get their creative juices flowing and new flavors flying from the kitchen. If the kitchen staff are inspired by food, the inspiration will flow to the tables and be a gift to inspire the guests.

The great Texas food and beverage experiment | Fredericksburg
Our mission is to explore all the ways that Texas food, wine, spirits and beer can inspire and delight us, together. We hope we never reach the end of this process.
What We Value
Our core values shape the atmospheres we create. These are the few basic principles that guide everything we do. They are the heartbeat of Flavory Texas.
Togetherness
Everything we do is to promote and undergird people coming together.
All Five Senses
The mind is great, but we want to teach through sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch.
Makers
People who want to take what the world gives them and create something the world has never seen.
Ingredients
If you sow something excellent, you can achieve something excellent.
Locality
We’re partial to Texas everything.
The Beating Hearts Behind This Project
This is no entrepreneurial endeavor. It is a mission to make the Hill Country a hotbed of food and drink culture. Flavory is led by a 100% volunteer board of culinarily curious people who love Texas cuisine and want to see it flourish.
